Madhuri Dixit
In this blog I am talking about bollywood dhak dhak girl, yes I am talking about bollywood queen Madhuri Dixit. She was born on 15 may 1967 in Mumbai. Her father is Shankar Dixir and mother is Snehlata Dixit.She studied in Divine child high school and completed graduation at mumbai University. She wanted to be a microbiologist but she had a desire to become a dancer and she started her dancing practice at the age of 3.She practiced kathak dance and later on she became professional kathak dancer. Madhuri Dixit always praised by critics of her dance and acting skill.She is also popular for "mohini " name,is a character which she played in "Tezab" movie.Madhuri Dixit made her debut in "Abodh" movie in 1984 which was not a successful movie but Madhuri Dixit earned positive reviews from critics. Her another movie was "Awara Baap", that turned out to be another failure for her. In 1986 she worked in two movies that were also flop movies then she in 1987 she worked in three movies, all these three movie were flopped but in 1988 her breakthrough came. She attained a stardom in Tezab movie opposite Anil Kapoor where she did a lead role of Mohini .She is most remembered for her crowd pleasing dance act "ek do teen" And her pair with Anil Kapoor became very popular. This pair is appreciated by people.They gave many superhit films together.
In 1989 She worked in Subhash Ghai film "Ram Lakhan" opposite Anil Kapoor. This film was the highest grossing movie of that year.
Then she worked in "prem pratigya"movie opposite Mithun chakraborty and in "tridev" movie along with Jackie Shroff, Sunny Deol and Nasseruddin shah . Both movies were super hit movies and her acting skill praised by critics. At that time she is at the top of bollywood. In 1990 she worked in"Dil" movie opposite Amir Khan and this movie became the biggest hit movie of that year and she has won the filmfare award for best female actor for Dil movie.
Then she starred in "Sajan" movie along with salman Khan and sunjay Dutt and this movie was also highest grossing movie.
After looking her career in Bollywood we can say she is the most successful female actor of Bollywood.In her career she gave many hit movies, super hit movies, blockbuster movies and she became the queen of bollywood. For her acting She has won many awards. She has won six filmfare awards, four for best actress, one for best supporting role and one special award.She has been nominated for filmfare awards for best actress a record fourteen times. She has also received "Padmi Shri" award , a fourth highest civillian award, by the government of Indian in 2008. Coming to her personal life we came to know that she had a affair with Sanjay Dutt but in 1993 Sanjay Dutt was arrested under TADA and Madhuri Dixit ended the relationship.On October 17, 1999 she married to Dr. Shriram Madhav Nene. She was moved to America.
