Amitabh Bachchan is one of the great actor of Indian cinema.He was born on october 11 1942 in Allahbad. His father Harivansh Rai Bachchan was a great poet..He is the megastar of Bollywood. Before he enter in Bollywood he gave audition in 'all Indian Radio Station' but he was rejected because of his heavy voice.In 1969 he debuted in SAAT HINDUSTANI.But his first movie was a flop movie.In his starting career he gave many flop movies.For the first time when he came to mumbai, he spent many nights on benches of Marine Drive.After so many flop movies he signed a film 'Ananad'. For this movie he won the filmfare award for the supporting role.In these movie he did a role of doctor and people appreciated him very much for his acting.
In 1972, Zanzeer made him an action movie star.In these movie he played the role of inspector.Because of his role in these movie people called him 'Angry young man'.Now the megastar of Bollywood has born.Amitabh bachchan teamed up with best producer and director whether it is Ramesh sippy, Yashraj chopra, Prakash mehra, manmohan desai.They ruled the box office.He worked in 'Sholay' that is the one of the greatest movie of Indian cinema. While shooting for movie 'Coolie' he was severely injured that there was a less chance for him to survive.People praying for him and the doctors of Breach candy hospital were doing their best to save Amitabh Bachchan.After a great struggle Amitabh Bachchan returned from near death.
In 1991 After movie 'Hum' he took a break from acting and he started hi film production company 'Amitabh Bachchan coorporation' whose first release 'Tere Mere Sapne' was a box office failure.In 2000, he appeared in a supporting role in 'Mohabattein'. In same year he made his television debut as the host of 'Kaun Banega crorepati' show. In 2005, he played a role of teacher of a blind and deaf girl in 'Black' for which he received a national award for best actor.He has also performed a playback singer for the films like 'Mr.Natwarlal' ,'Baghban'.
Amitabh Bhachchan was married to actress Jaya Bhaduri. The couple have two children, Shweta Nanda and Abhishek Bachchan.
In 1984, he joined the politics and he was elected as a member of parliament from his birth city, allahabad.He won by one of the highest victory margins in general election history (68.2% of vote). His political career however was a short lived. He resigned politics after three years.Amitabh Bachchan is also a brand Ambassador of Gujarat Tourism.'All India radio station rejected him for his heavy voice but he made his name in Bollywood because of his heavy voice. People like Amitabh Bachchan's havy voice . People love him for his acting, dedication for his role in movie.He is very hardworking actor and he is bigger than superstar.That's why people loved him very much.
